A personal favorite, Robert Wuhl, gives a remarkable demonstration of how to teach these kids today.

He uses his humorous gift, practiced stage presence, pop culture references and arcane facts along with multi-media to spellbind students with the idea that history repeats itself, pop culture is history and we've been here before.

He is hopeful we'll get through it, again.

I'm withholding judgement.

It must now be obvious to even the most obtuse amongst us; You and your party are more committed to partisan party politics than you are to the best interests of the nation as a whole.

If you think this is a thing of no consequence, you are sorely mistaken.

Shame on you, sir, shame.

Most of the current problem is of your party's making. And now you demand the “African” fix it. Shame on you.

Statesmanship is what is called for. Statesmanship.

If you spend any part of your life on-line, traveling, working, recreating, using public facilities, receiving health-care, government services, patronizing commercial establishments, raising/educating children, let alone writing congressmen, senators, presidents, newspapers, blogging and so much else, you come under ever increasing scrutiny.

The scans can view your calls, texts, tweets, URLs, home, car, workplace, body and more.

And at least five of the "great" minds on the Supreme Court think this is just dandy.

Our freedom is slowly being eroded in exchange for a false sense of security.

The rich get richer and the poor kids keep marching off to war.

Bin Laden must be laughing his ass off.  One rotten little man in a cave (compound, whatever) changing an entire society from half a globe away to prove his god has the bigger dick.

And we fall for it.

This is all so reminiscent of the Fall of Rome that it's scary.

And meanwhile we cook the planet just to keep things "edgy". Sheesh.
