Darth Cheney, Schmuck til the Bitter End ?

Perhaps the unmitigated disaster that was aWol's administration has made me permanently cynical but not for one minute do I think that Cheney's "back injury" necessitated the use of a wheel chair.

The notion he put out his back doing any sort of manual labor is laughable. The only thing he's lifted in quite some time is his leg on the Bill of Rights.

No, gentle reader, it was, I believe, purely and simply, a final gesture of disrespect. To the new president and the office he now holds. To us and to our democracy. Darth manufactured a ruse to avoid having to stand, respectfully, in the presence of the new president.

Before him stands a man vested with our nation's hope. The embodiment of repudiation. With a mandate as clear as a jury's verdict and more than 2+ million citizen supporters giving urgent voice to an overwhelming desire to try another way.

And one more time he quite clearly says, "So?".

Catch you later.....

I think he's pulling the old wear a neckbrace in court tactic to get sympathy, especially with the chatter about pursuing war crimes....

Someone needed to drop their briefcase behind him so everyone could see he could turn his neck or in this case set off a fire alarm and watch him push women and children out of the way so he could get to the exit.

Yes, I watch too many sitcoms.

Personally, I don't think he's faking it, I think that he probably pulled out his back moving that man-sized safe out of the VP Office... or maybe it was moving one of the many bundles of cash he has on hand... $700 billion weighs a lot, even if it is in large denominations, and you wouldn't let just anybody move that kinda cash, you'd wanna do that yourself, specially if you didn't want anyone to know about it

I too think he was faking so that in future when liberals say he should have prosecuted the propaganda class of Fox, Rush, Hanitty, Beck) might ask what a frail helpless old man like him could have done that was so bad.

But the theory he didnt want to stand is compelling as well.

As another pissed off old hippie, I await the arrest of cheney et. al. for war crimes. I shall hoot and holler on that day and not until. neocons are the REAL terrorists, and the damage they have done to our beautiful Americas is shameful. Too bad they have none...only a stale 40 year old ideology
Inmate cheney, enjoy the rest of your miserable life but don't drop the soap.

Send my regards to Karma for showing up right on time. It made Cheney look like mean Old Man Potter, that bastard in a wheelchair who tried to jail George Bailey. All that was missing was the plaid blanket.

I too think he did it to try to garner sympathy in case he gets prosecuted for his various crimes. What a jerk. Of course he could be doing it because of his well known heart condition, but....

It is more than a bit difficult to believe that Dick "The Dick" Cheney was doing any heavy lifting, to get himself out of his office and this administration. The epitome of "we have people for that", it seems like him not wanting to stand for and to this new, young, brash, intelligent and eloquent President who, with his administration, is going to replace him.

What a sick, sick pig.

And the fools in Wyoming gave him a standing ovation, on his return today.

Let them have him, the old fool.

personally.. I think his aide didnt use any lube when he shoved that double ended bedroom aide in him. As much as I cant stand Obama... I still hope he does a good job. Hell, as long as he doesnt start a nuclear war he will be better than Bush and Co.
